Newly Painted Decorative Fence

After years of neglect, the Royal Singapore Lakes Townhouse Association recreational area has been undergoing extensive renovations. Recently, the original developer and the Milton Family ceded the land to the Royal Singapore Lakes Town Townhouse Association. Note: this should have been done over 40 years ago. Obtaining ownership allowed RSLTH to take action on the dismally maintained property. The highlights of this renovation included:

  • Refinishing and restriping one of the tennis court surfaces and installation of a new net
  • Conversion of one of the tennis courts to two basketball courts
  • Resurfacing, striping, and addition of two basketball nets on the converted court
  • Repainting of the of the entry sign
  • Addition of a flagpole to the entry sign
  • Resodding and stone removal of the grounds
  • Renovation of the sprinkling system
  • Installation of a wooden decorative fence
  • Repair of all chain-link fences
  • Repair of the electrical systems
  • Security locks were were installed on the court gates

It seems that late last year we had endless rain. Once the decorative fence dried out it was then painted, as shown above.

Tom LaMarca, RSLTH president, is to be thanked for his tireless work on behalf of the RSLTH homeowners for obtainment of the recreational area land and its subsequent renovation. Thank you Tom!
